We're goin' to the zoo, zoo, zoo

.. how about you, you, you.....  woke up singing that this morning and off we headed to San Diego Zoo.  It's only a 20 minute drive.  It was excellent, very well laid out with some amazing animals.  We were blown away by the Polar Bear playing with a ball in the water, the picture doesn't do it justice.  He was absolutely HUGE!

We loved this little fellow too, I took this especially for you Marita!

Finally, homo-erectus in his natural environment; carrying three soda refills for the kids while sweating like a dyslexic on Countdown.

We are still way behind when it comes to expressing our enthusiasm for things.  We saw some really cool sand sculptures and William calmly pointed them out to me.  Behind us we heard... Oh My God, you guys, these are Sand Sculptures... wish I had audio so you could hear it!!!  Anyways, we members now and we will definitely be going back!!!
